What this site does — and doesn't do
A free tool for checking an unknown phone number against numbering facts and public complaint records.
What we do
- Check whether a number is valid and where it was assigned (country, area code, region).
- Search official U.S. complaint records about unwanted calls linked to that displayed number.
- Summarize those records into a plain, explainable risk classification.
What we don't do
- We don't publish names, addresses, or profiles of private individuals.
- We don't guess who owns a number or who owned it before.
- We don't call anyone a scammer. Complaints are reports, not proof — caller ID can be spoofed.
- We don't invent data. If something isn't available, we say so.
